Hehir won the overall title and Knight was the top freshman at the ACC Championships

After earning the ACC title last Friday, a pair of Orange student-athletes earned ECAC Weekly honors for their performances.

ACC Individual Champion Martin Hehir was named ECAC Runner of the Week, while freshman Justyn Knight was named ECAC Rookie of the Week after being the first freshman to cross the line at the meet.

Hehir won the overall crown by completing the course in 23:15.2, more than six seconds ahead of his next closest competitor.

Knight finished in eighth place overall (the third runner across for the Orange) at 23:30.7, 1:08 seconds and 42 places ahead of any other true freshmen.

Hehir and Knight next look towards the NCAA Northeast Regional on Nov. 14 in the Bronx, N.Y.
