NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- A share of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) regular-season title is on the line when No. 1/2 Syracuse takes on No. 9/8 Notre Dame on Saturday, April 19. Opening draw in Notre Dame, Ind. is set for 3 p.m.

What to Watch For -- Syracuse (14-1, 5-1)
1. A win against Notre Dame would give Syracuse at least a share of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) regular-season title in its first year in the league. The Orange and Maryland are tied for the top spot in the league standings with 5-1 conference records. Syracuse won the BIG EAST regular-season title six of the last seven years.
2. Senior Alyssa Murray (West Babylon, N.Y.) had two goals at Cornell, giving her 198 in her career. She needs two more to become the fourth player in school history to score 200 career goals.
3. Senior Katie Webster (Syracuse, N.Y.) tallied a season-high four points and tied her career high with three assists in Syracuse's win at Cornell. Webster ranks third on the team in points (32) and goals (24) this season.
What to Watch For – Notre Dame (9-6, 2-4)
1. Notre Dame lost to Ohio State, 12-9, in Columbus on Tuesday. The Fighting Irish is now 9-6 overall this season, including a 5-3 mark at home. Notre Dame is 2-4 in ACC play.
2. Freshman Courtney Fortunato leads Notre Dame in points (52), goals (39) and assists (13). She is one of four players who have scored more than 20 goals for the Fighting Irish this season. Allie Murray has started 13 games in goal for Notre Dame. She has a 10.29 goals-against average and a .431 save percentage.
3. Christine Halfpenny is in her third season at the helm of the Notre Dame program. She has guided the Fighting Irish to a record of 35-16 and two NCAA Tournament appearances.
THE SERIES
Syracuse leads the all-time series with Notre Dame, 13-5. The Orange has won the last three meetings, including an 11-8 victory in the Carrier Dome last season.
UP NEXT…
Syracuse will compete in the ACC Tournament for the first time next week at Boston College. The tournament begins Thursday with the semifinals scheduled for Friday. The title game will be played on Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m.
