Syracuse hosts canned food drive against Morgan State

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's basketball team will open its 2015-16 home slate on Monday, Nov. 23 against Morgan State. Monday's game will be a Thanksgiving Celebration!

Syracuse will host a canned food drive against Morgan State. Look for the Tops shopping carts at the Carrier Dome to put your donations in.

Fans who bring a canned food item to the game will receive a $5 voucher for a future women's basketball contest. Those who donate can collect their vouchers at a table at Gate B.

All of the food collected will be donated to Hendrick's Chapel.

The Orange returns to court on Friday night when it takes on No. 4/5 Tennessee. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. in Knoxville, Tenn. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
