Freshman Justyn Knight wins cross country title for Canada
Syracuse standout freshman Justyn Knight added to his list of achievements on Sunday when he won the Pan-Am Cross Country Junior Championship in Barranquilla, Colombia.
Knight brought home the crown for Canada, racing to a time of 19:04, nine seconds over USA's Conner Mantz.
The Vaughan, Ontario native was the top-rookie performer at the ACC Championships in October and previously won the Canadian Junior Championship this spring.
On the track, Knight also broke four minutes in the mile while competing at the Penn State National in January.
