CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – No. 7/7 Syracuse takes on No. 4/3 Boston College in the quarterfinals of the 2015 ACC Women's Lacrosse Tournament on Thursday, April 23. The Orange and Eagles will play in the final quarterfinal of the day scheduled for 6 p.m.

What to Watch For – Syracuse (No. 6 seed, 11-6, 3-4 ACC)
1. Syracuse is making its second appearance in the ACC Tournament. Last season the Orange advanced to the championship game where it lost to Maryland, 13-7.
2. Senior Loren Ziegler (West Islip, N.Y.) netted a career-high five goals in the victory against Albany. She has recorded nine goals in her last three games and now has posted four multiple-goal games this season.
3. The Orange's victory at Louisville was the 125th career win for head coach Gary Gait. He has guided Syracuse to a record of 126-40 (.759) in seven-plus seasons.

What to Watch For – Boston College (No. 3 seed, 14-2, 5-2)
1. Boston College enters the ACC Tournament on a three-game winning streak, which improved its record to 14-2. The Eagles posted a 5-2 mark in conference play this season to earn the No. 3 seed in the tournament.
2. Covie Stanwick leads the Boston College offense with 65 points on 42 goals and 23 assists. Four players have recorded 40 or more points and three have scored 40 or more goals in 2015. Goalkeeper Zoe Ochoa has started all 16 games for the Eagles. She has a 9.07 goals-against average and a .406 save percentage.
3. Acacia Walker is in her third season at the helm of the Boston College program. She has guided the Eagles to two straight NCAA Tournament appearances.

THE SERIES
Thursday's game will be the 14th all-time meeting between the two schools. Syracuse has won 12 of the previous 13 meetings. Boston College recorded its first win against the Orange earlier this season when it overcame an early three-goal deficit to defeat SU, 10-9, in the Carrier Dome.
