CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 7/6 Syracuse begins a two-game road trip on Saturday, April 11 when it travels to North Carolina to take on the No. 2/2 Tar Heels. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m.

What to Watch For – Syracuse (9-5, 2-3)
1. Syracuse will travel to Chapel Hill for just the second time in school history. The first meeting between the two schools took place at North Carolina in the 2001 NCAA Tournament.
 2. Junior Taylor Gait (Fayetteville, N.Y.) is averaging 2.67 goals per game in her last three contests. She scored a career-high three goals against Virginia Tech. Gait matched that total against Notre Dame.
3. The Orange played its eighth one-goal game of the season on Tuesday against Notre Dame. Five of Syracuse's last seven games have been decided by a goal. The Orange is 4-4 in one-goal games this season.

What to Watch For – North Carolina (11-2, 4-1)
1. The Tar Heels are coming off three straight victories against conference rivals Louisville, Notre Dame and Virginia Tech. North Carolina is currently in second place in the ACC with a 4-1 league mark.
2. Molly Hendrick has started all 13 games and leads the Tar Heels with 30 goals on the season. Aly Messinger has recorded double digits in goals (18), assists (11), points (29) and ground balls (14) through the first 13 games. Both goalkeepers, Caylee Waters (4.77) and Megan Ward (3.10), rank in the top 10 in the country in saves per game.
3. Jenny Levy is in her 20th year at the helm of the North Carolina program. She has guided the Tar Heels to the NCAA semifinals seven times and led her team to the NCAA Championship in 2013.
THE SERIES
Saturday's game marks the sixth all-time meeting between the two schools. The Orange has won four the five previous meetings.
