Syracuse tries to advance to the Final Four for the fourth straight year.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- No. 3/3 Syracuse will try to advance to the Final Four for the third consecutive year when it faces No. 13/13 Loyola in the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament quarterfinals on Saturday, May 16. The teams square off at 1 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.

Tickets for Sunday's game are $8 for adults and $5 for college students from an NCAA institution with a valid ID and youth ages 12 and under. Live video of the game will be available on ESPN3. Fans in the Syracuse area can listen to the game on WJPZ 89.1FM.

What to Watch For – Syracuse (15-7)
1. Syracuse is making its eighth appearance in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals. The Orange has won its last four quarterfinal contests and has an all-time record of 5-2 in the round of eight. Syracuse is seeking its fourth straight trip to the national semifinals and the sixth in school history.Â
2. Junior Kayla Treanor needs two points to become just the fourth player in school history to record 300 points in her career. In addition, her next goal will give Treanor sole possession of fourth place on Syracuse's career leader list.
3. Goalkeeper Kelsey Richardson made seven saves against Pennsylvania, increasing her season total to 167. She now ranks fifth on Syracuse's single-season saves list.

What to Watch For – Loyola (17-4)
1. Loyola enters Saturday's game on a 16-game winning streak, which is the longest in the country. The Greyhounds defeated Bryant in the NCAA Tournament first round and then upset No. 5 seed Boston College to advance to the quarterfinals.
2. Kara Burke scored eight goals against Boston College to tie the NCAA Tournament single-game record. She is the leading scorer in the tournament through the first two rounds with 18 points.
3. Jen Adams is in her seventh year at the helm of the Loyola program. She has guided the Greyhounds to two BIG EAST championships and four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.

PROGRAM HISTORY
Syracuse leads the all-time series with Loyola, 9-6. The Greyhounds defeated SU, 9-8, in the regular-season finale on May 2 to snap a two-game losing streak against the Orange.
