Orange Faces Penn in NCAA Tournament Second Round at 1:30

SYRACUSE, N.Y. --Â Syracuse opens play in the 2015 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament on Sunday, May 10 when it hosts Pennsylvania in a second round matchup. Opening draw at the SU Soccer Stadium has been moved up to 1:30 p.m.

Tickets for Sunday's game are $8 for adults and $5 for college students from an NCAA institution with a an ID and youth ages 12 and under. Live audio and video will be available on Cuse.com free of charge. Fans in the Syracuse area can listen to the game on WJPZ 89.1FM.

What to Watch For – Syracuse (14-7)
1. The Orange is making its eighth appearance in the national tournament in the last nine years. Syracuse is the No. 4 seed in the tournament and earned a first-round bye. The Orange is 14-12 all-time in NCAA Tournament play. Syracuse has advanced to three consecutive Final Fours and has played for the national championship in two of the last three years.
2. Junior Kayla Treanor has been named a finalist for the Tewaaraton Award for the second consecutive year. In addition, she earned her second consecutive ACC Offensive Player of the Week award. She has 80 points on 53 goals and 27 assists this season.
3. Senior goalkeeper Kelsey Richardson (Memphis, N.Y.) has made 23 saves in NCAA Tournament games, which is the fourth-highest total in program history. This season, she ranks seventh in the nation with a career-high 160 saves.

What to Watch For – Pennsylvania (14-4)
1. Pennsylvania defeated Albany, 11-10, in overtime on Friday to advance to the second round. The victory improved the Quakers' record to 14-4.
2. Tory Benson and Nina Corcoran lead the Penn offense. Benson has tallied a team-best 54 goals and leads the squad with 60 points, while Corcoran has 56 points on 21 goals and team-high 35 assists.
3. Karin Brower Corbett is in her 16th season at the helm of the Penn program. She has guided the Quakers to eight Ivy League titles and three trips to the national semifinals.

SERIES RECORD
Sunday's game will be the third meeting between Syracuse and Penn. The Quakers have won the previous two meetings.
