The Sophomore picks up ACC Performer of the Week honors

One day after being named USTFCCCA National Performer of the Week, senior Colin Bennie earned ACC Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week accolades following his first-career victory at the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational.

It's the second-straight week a member of the Orange has earned the award after Cassia Hameline won ACC Women's Cross Country Performer of the Week last week.

Bennie improved on his third-place finish at the event from a year ago by shaving over a minute off his time and winning the race by a full-10 seconds. The 'Cuse men placed second at the meet.

Next up for Bennie and the Orange is the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown on Friday, Sept. 25.
