Syracuse hosts eight ACC contests in the Carrier Dome
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference released its 2015-16 women's basketball schedule on Wednesday morning. Home matchups against 2015 NCAA Tournament regional semifinalists Duke and Louisville and 2015 national quarterfinalist Florida State highlight the 2015-16 Syracuse University women's basketball team's conference schedule.

Coming off its third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and its second tournament victory, head coach Quentin Hillsman and his Orange will play a 16-game ACC slate with eight contests in the friendly confines of the Carrier Dome.

With the addition of its in-conference competition, the 2015-16 Syracuse women's basketball schedule is complete. The Orange will play eight teams that advanced to the 2015 NCAA Tournament regional semifinals and four 2015 national quarterfinalists.

Syracuse opens conference play when it hosts 2015 NCAA Tournament regional semifinalist Duke on Jan. 3 at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU, one of eight SU regular-season contests currently slated to be broadcast on television.

Following a trip to 2015 NCAA Tournament regional semifinalist North Carolina on Jan. 7, the Orange will host Virginia Tech (Jan. 10) and 2015 NCAA Tournament participant Pittsburgh (Jan. 14). The team will then travel to Wake Forest (Jan. 17) before taking on 2015 national runner-up Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. on Jan. 21. The contest against the Fighting Irish will be broadcast at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.

During that time, the Orange will play 2015 NCAA Tournament participant Miami (Feb. 1) on the road, as well. The matchup will be available live at 7 p.m. on the Regional Sports Network.

The program will close the 2015-16 regular season with four of its final contests on the road; Virginia (Feb. 11), NC State (Feb. 14), Pittsburgh (Feb. 21), and Boston College (Feb. 25). Syracuse's home finale will be against 2015 national quarterfinalist Florida State on Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. It will be televised on the Regional Sports Network, as well.

The 2016 ACC Tournament will be held at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C. from March 2-6. It marks the 17th year in-a-row that the conference tournament will be held there.
