After strong performances at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown, the sophomore Justyn Knight and senior Margo Malone swept the ACC Performers of the Week honors.

Knight, who placed first in the meet, paced five members of the No. 3 Orange into the top-10 including teammates Martin Hehir and Colin Bennie who finished third and fourth respectively. Knight pulled away from Purdue's Matt McClintock down the stretch to win the race by 1.6 seconds, for an overall 8k time of 23:51.0.

Malone took second in the women's 6k, while also leading the No. 19 Orange to a second-place finish. She raced to a time of 16:51.0 in the 5k, one second behind Stony Brook's Christina Melian for the overall win. Malone and the Orange fell to just No. 8 Providence, while beating out No. 4 Georgetown for second.

Next up, Syracuse will take on the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational on Friday, Oct. 16 in Madison, Wisconsin.
