Women's Hoops Hosts Team Day on Sunday

Syracuse hosts Virginia Tech in the Carrier Dome at 2 p.m.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's basketball team will host its annual Team Day on Sunday afternoon when it takes on Atlantic Coast Conference opponent Virginia Tech. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. in the friendly confines of the Carrier Dome.

Local teams are invited to attend the Orange's second home conference contest when the squad hosts the Hokies. Teams that register for the event will be admitted free of charge. To register, please e-mail Jen Falco at jmfalco@syr.edu.

In addition, the annual 'Cuse Carnival is scheduled for Sunday afternoon's contest. Inflatables, games, and face painting will all be held in the backcourt area at the Carrier Dome.

The Orange will play its second conference tilt on Thursday at North Carolina. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in Carmichael Arena in Chapel Hill, N.C. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
