Syracuse Ranks #25 in Coaches' Poll

The Orange takes on North Carolina in its next contest
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's basketball team cracked the top 25 of the USA Today Coaches Poll in the most recent rankings release on Tuesday afternoon. Syracuse was ranked No. 25 in the country in the latest coaches' poll.

This marks the third time during the 2015-16 season that the Orange has been ranked No. 25 nationally in the USA Today Coaches Poll. In the Associated Press Poll, Syracuse just missed out on entering the top 25 of the rankings. SU earned the most votes of any team not ranked in the top 25 of the AP Poll.

The Orange is coming off a week when it recorded four victories, including an 86-50 thrashing of then No. 12/12 Duke. It marked Syracuse's largest margin of victory against a top-25 team in program history.

SU will play its second conference tilt on Thursday at North Carolina. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in Carmichael Arena in Chapel Hill, N.C. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3. Â
