After dominating the ACC Championship to secure its fifth-straight conference championship, the Syracuse cross country team moved up to No. 5 in this week's USTFCCCA Coaches' Poll.
The Orange, which had seven student-athletes receive All-ACC accolades on Friday for their run at the ACC Championship, moved up one spot this week after entering that week at No. 6.
Northern Arizona is the unanimous No. 1 in the poll, receiving 360 points, ahead of Colorado (343), BYU (327), Stanford (326) and Syracuse (314) to round out the top-five.
Behind the Orange, No. 16 Virginia and No. 27 NC State represent the ACC in the poll.
The Syracuse women are receiving votes in the poll after a fifth-place finish at the ACC Championship. No. 2 NC State and No. 14 Notre Dame are the two ACC women's programs in this week's poll.
Both squads are back in action on Nov. 11 at the NCAA Northeast Regional.
