Syracuse hosts No. 22 Michigan State on Wednesday
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's basketball team is ranked in the top 25 of both major national polls for the 10th-straight week. Syracuse ranks No. 20 nationally in the latest Associated Press Poll and No. 21 in the country in the most recent coaches' rankings.
The Orange have been ranked in the top 25 of both major national polls since Feb. 9, 2016.
Coming off a fourth-place showing at the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Fla., Syracuse hosts No. 22 Michigan State on Wednesday night in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
The team will take on a nationally-ranked foe for the third-straight game when it hosts the Spartans. It marks the first time since the 2014-15 campaign that the Orange have endured such a stretch. In addition, it is the first time in program history that Syracuse has played three nationally-ranked opponents in the month of November.
Wednesday's game will be Women in Business Day, as well. An hour-long networking session will be held in Club 44 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. In addition, the first 1,000 fans will receive a commemorative professional pen. For more information, click here.
