Syracuse takes on No. 8/8 Louisville on Thursday night
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's basketball team is ranked in the top 25 of the latest releases of the two major national polls. Syracuse has appeared in the top 25 of both major national rankings in each of the past 14 poll releases, dating back to Feb. 9, 2016.
The Orange are ranked No. 21 nationally in the USA Today Coaches Poll, while the team checks in at No. 25 in the country in the Associated Press Poll.
Syracuse completed non-conference play with a 9-4 overall record. For the 10th-straight season, the squad defeated a nationally-ranked opponent, knocking off No. 22 Michigan State in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Nov. 30.
The Orange open conference competition on Thursday night at No. 8/8 Louisville. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
