
Syracuse-Albany Slated for Noon Tip

New York foes meet with trip to the Sweet 16 on the line
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's basketball team will meet Albany in the second round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon in the Carrier Dome. The winner of Sunday's contest will advance to the Sweet 16 in Sioux Falls, S.D. Sunday's game will be broadcast on ESPN2, as well.
Tickets for Sunday's second-round contest are already available. For Sunday's game, tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youth, college students with ID, and senior citizens. Group tickets (20 or more) are $10 for adults and $8 for youth.
The Carrier Dome box office will be open from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are available online, as well.
Syracuse advanced to the second round following a 73-56 victory against Army West Point on Friday afternoon. Albany upset Florida, 61-59, earlier in the Carrier Dome.
