Sykes returns for fifth season at Syracuse
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -Â Redshirt junior guard Brittney Sykes will be back for the 2016-17 campaign and ready to make more history with the Syracuse University women's basketball program.Â

Syracuse is primed for another stellar season in 2016-17. Despite the departure of Brianna Butler, Cornelia Fondren, Taylor Ford, and Maggie Morrison, the Orange return a solid foundation following their first trip to the national championship game. The club returns three of its top four scorers in junior guard Alexis Peterson, Sykes, and junior center Briana Day.
