
Jones Leads Rockhampton to Title

Jones averaged 18.0 points per game in the final
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Former Syracuse University women's basketball player Chandrea Jones '09 helped the Rockhampton Cyclones to the 2016 Queensland Basketball League (QBL) title on Saturday.
Rockhampton swept the Mackay Meteorettes in the QBL final, 2-0. Jones averaged 18.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game for the Cyclones in the league final.
Following the Olympic Games break, Kayla Alexander '13 is back in action with the San Antonio Stars. Alexander notched seven points and four rebounds for San Antonio on Friday, Aug. 26 against the New York Liberty.
Alexander and the Stars return to the court on Sunday evening against the Connecticut Sun.
