The Syracuse men's cross country team remained a unanimous No. 1 ahead of Friday's Panorama Farms Invitational at Virginia.
The women's team held their spot as well, staying at No. 16 in the second weekly update of the season.
Complete Poll
The 'Cuse men (360 points) are ahead of new No. 2 Northern Arizona (335), No. 3 Oregon (334), No. 4 Stanford (323) and No. 5 Colorado (313) to keep all the top-five teams the same this week, with just Northern Arizona and Oregon flipping spots.
Three ACC men's teams are ranked in this week's poll, with No. 11 Virginia and No. 23 NC State representing the conference in the rankings, with Louisville, Florida State and Virginia Tech also receiving votes.
In the women's poll, New Mexico remained at No. 1, with 'Cuse coming in as the fourth ranked ACC team, behind No. 5 NC State, No. 14 Virginia and No. 15 Notre Dame.
The Orange men were a unanimous selection as No. 1 for the first time in program history last week after collecting all-12 first place. This is just the third coaches poll where the Orange have been ranked No. 1 after earning the accolade in the first weekly update and the preseason poll after also winning the 2015 NCAA Championship and finishing on top of the rankings last season.
Both teams will compete at the Panorama Farms Invitational this weekend, on the same course the Syracuse men claimed the 2014 ACC Championship on, Friday. The women's race will begin at 10 a.m., with the men's race following shortly after at 10:30.
