Finklea-Guity Recognized by USA Today

Incoming Orange women's basketball player collects honors
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Incoming Syracuse women's basketball freshman center Amaya Finklea-Guity was named to the American Family Insurance All-USA Today Massachusetts Girls Basketball First Team, as announced on Thursday.
Finklea-Guity averaged 16.8 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 5.5 blocks per game for Noble & Greenough over the 2016-17 season. She led her high school team to the Independent School League title and New England Preparatory Schools Athletic Council (NEPSAC) semifinals.
A 6-4 center from Dorchester, Mass., Finklea-Guity is a five-star recruit, as ranked by espnW Hoopgurlz. She has been recognized as the 42nd-ranked player and fifth-best center in her class by the recruiting service, as well.
Syracuse has hauled in the No. 2 class nationally according to Blue Star Report and the eighth-ranked class in the country as ranked by Dan Olson of espnW HoopGurlz.
