SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Center Kayla Alexander '13 and guards Alexis Peterson and Brittney Sykes, the top three scorers in the history of the Syracuse women's basketball program, are all back in action as the 2017 WNBA season is underway.
Here is the latest update of how the three former Orange are faring:
Kayla Alexander, San Antonio Stars
- Currently averaging 3.3 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per game in three contests played
- Tallied eight points, two rebounds, and an assist in 11 minutes of play against Phoenix on May 19
Alexis Peterson, Seattle Storm
- Tallying 1.3 points, 0.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per contest in three games played
- Played two minutes in Seattle's latest contest, a victory against Washington on May 21
Brittney Sykes, Atlanta Dream
- Averaging 3.0 points, 1.0 rebounds, 0.3 assists per game in three contests played
- Currently ranks seventh in the league among rookies in scoring
- Registered two rebounds and an assist against Chicago on May 21
