SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's ice hockey team has announced dates for its Elite Prospects camps to be held this summer. Below is a list of the camp dates and locations:
The Elite Prospects camps are for competitive female hockey players who have future goals of playing at the NCAA Division I level. The camp is designed to help educate young players and their families on the NCAA process and to introduce them to the style and intensity of college level practices.
It is an opportunity for players to showcase their abilities to the coaching staff in practice and game settings. The coaching staff will conduct all on-ice practice sessions and be on the bench for all games to give individual feedback throughout the camp. A recruiting and college seminar outlining the college recruiting process will be conducted.
The day camp in Skaneateles is for young hockey players looking to improve their on-ice skills and learn more about positional and situational play. The camp is designed to provide a fun environment with an engaged coaching staff. Age groups include 10-12 year olds in the first group and 13-16 year olds in the second group.
For more information or to register, visit the camp website or contact camp director Brendon Knight (email: cusehockeyelite@gmail.com; phone: 315-443-2259).
