Alexis Peterson sets new career-high in points
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Center Kayla Alexander '13 and guards Alexis Peterson and Brittney Sykes the top three scorers in the history of the Syracuse women's basketball program, are all in action as the 2017 WNBA season is underway.

Here is the latest update of how the three former Orange are faring:

Kayla Alexander, San Antonio Stars
- Currently averaging 5.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game in 31 contests played
- Ranks second on San Antonio for field goal percentage (55.3 percent) and blocked shots (0.5/game)
- Recorded three points, an assist and a rebound at Seattle on Aug. 18
- Posted 11 points for her seventh double digit game of the season while tabbing four rebounds and a steal at Los Angeles on Aug. 22
Alexis Peterson, Seattle Storm
- Tallying 1.9 points, 1.1 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.3 steals per contest in 14 games
- Notched three points, two assists and two rebounds in a win over Chicago on Aug. 20
- Earned some court time during a win against San Antonio on Aug. 18
- Recorded a career-high six points with two assists, two rebound and two steals in 14 minutes of action against Minnesota on Aug. 16
Brittney Sykes, Atlanta Dream
- Averaging 13.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.5 blocked shots per game in 30 contests played
- Tied for first among league rookies in points per game (13.2) and blocks (0.6), while ranking second in rebounds (4.2) and minutes averaged (24.5)
- Posted 17 points, three assists, a steal and seven rebounds against Dallas on Aug. 19
