Both Squads Check In in National Poll

Following their strong performance at the NCAA Pre-Nationals meet in Madison, Wisconsin over the weekend, the Syracuse women's team vaulted back into the top-25 this week at 25, while the men's team ranks 10th.
With their third-place finish in the White Race, the Orange men's program leads the ACC pack in the polls this week. Virginia and Notre Dame followed, landing in the 14th and 15th spot respectively. Aidan Tooker was the Orange's top performer last time out, taking second at pre-nats.
Overall, Northern Arizona, BYU, Wisconsin, Stanford and Portland round out the top-five in succession on the men's side.
The Orange women's team finished eighth overall in the Cardinal Race of the Wisconsin Pre-Nats, in a field that featured 10 ranked squads. Laura Dickinson, Rachel Bonner and Madeleine Davison turned in top-50 performances in the race for Syracuse.
Colorado, Boise State, New Mexico, Oregon and Arkansas headline the women's poll in order.
This weekend, the Orange lace-up for the John Reif Memorial race this weekend in Ithaca, N.Y. Action begins at 5 p.m. on Friday.
