The No. 10 Syracuse men and No. 25 women head to Cornell for the John Reif Memorial race on Friday.

- Friday's races feature a men's and women's 5k
- The meet begins at 4:30 p.m. in Ithaca, N.Y.
Last Time at John Rief Memorial
- The Orange raced a small group of individuals in 2017, not recording a team score.
- Freshman led the way for Syracuse last season as Nathan Henderson won the race in 2017 with a 15:22.1 finish and Stephen Schulz was right behind him at third place with a 15:38.9 time. Pierce Miller finished 12th.
- For the women, redshirt freshman Ryley Higgins was the only Orange runner. She took 17th place with a 20:22.2 mark.
Last Time Out:
- The men finished third at the NCAA Pre-Nationals in Madison, Wisconsin, led by a runner-up performance from Aidan Tooker. The women's team finished 8th.
- ACC Performer of the Week Aidan Tooker led the Orange with his second place finish. Tooker crossed the line in 23:54.9.
- The men finished with 195 points, behind Washington who finished with 106.
- Julian Webster led the way for the women finishing in 14th place with a time of 22:00.5. Laura Dickson and Rachel Bonner both place in the top 33.
- The women finished with 269 points, behind Minnesota who finished with 260. Ten ranked teams competed in that race, with the previously unranked Orange leaping ahead of three of the nation's top-25 teams.
Ranking the Orange:
- The 'Cuse women moved back into the top-25 from their performance at Wisconsin, moving up to No. 25 after previously being unranked.
