
‘Cuse Moves Up to No. 14 in Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches Poll

Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse (8-6) moved up one spot to No. 14 in the nation in this week's Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches Poll. The one spot improvement comes after a 3-2 loss in double overtime at home last Friday to then-ranked No. 10 Louisville (14-8). The Orange remain in the top-25 for the eighth time this season and have maintained a national ranking in every poll for the last 10 seasons.
Syracuse will take on No. 12 Saint Joseph's (14-2) this Saturday at 3 p.m. in Philadelphia, Pa., for their final game of the regular season. The matchup between the Orange and Hawks will be aired live on ESPN+.
Following the conclusion of the regular season, 'Cuse will head to Chapel Hill, N.C., for the 2018 Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Championship. The seventh-seed Orange will take on the third-ranked and two-seed Duke (13-4) in the first round on Thursday, Nov. 1, live on ACC Network Extra at 1:30 p.m.
