Orange Sweep Performer of the Week Honors

After strong showings in the final Syracuse cross country meet of the regular season, Joey Eovaldi and Kelsey Potts the men and women's performers this week.
Eovaldi finished fourth overall at the John Reif Memorial, which was the top finish among runners who were competing attached. His 15:52.3 time was only topped by teammates Matthew Scrape (15:23.3), Noah Beveridge (15:39.6) and Nathan Lawler (15:43.7) who ran unattached taking home first through third-place, respectively.
On the women's side, Kelsey Potts guided her team with her second-place finish, crossing the finish line in 18:42.4, just seconds after Cornell's Annie Glodek. Fellow Orange runner Eva Scott (18:44.7) was close behind, finishing in fourth-place, followed by Olivia Elston (19:16.3), Elizabeth Cultra (19:24.2) and Kayli Jones (19:55.3) who took home the 10th, 13th and 14th place spots.Â
The Orange will start the postseason on Friday at the ACC Championships. Syracuse has not lost an ACC meet on the men's side since joining the conference.
