Orange Remain No. 15/14 in Top 25

Syracuse, N.Y. – After a dominant 96-51 win over Maryland Eastern Shore last week, the Syracuse University women's basketball team remains No. 15 in the Associated Press (AP) Poll and No. 14 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
The Orange debuted at No. 18 in both polls and have been ranked as high as No. 12 in both polls this season. Syracuse is 8-2 overall with both losses being to top-25 opponents in then No. 3 Oregon and No. 20 Minnesota. 'Cuse is 2-2 against nationally-ranked opponents picking up a pair of wins over DePaul and Texas A&M who were ranked No. 16 and No. 20, respectively.
Syracuse averages 81 points and 43.4 rebounds per game while holding opponents to 62.6 points per game. The Orange currently lead the Atlantic Coast Conference in five statistical categories including assists per game (18.9) and three-point field goals per game (9.3).
'Cuse is back in action on Monday, Dec. 17, when the Orange host Niagara for School Day at 11 a.m. Fans can catch the action live from the Carrier Dome on ACC Network Extra.
