Orange Close Out Regular Season Sunday in the Dome

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 16/19 Syracuse plays its final regular-season game on Sunday, April 22 when it hosts Louisville at 1 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. Fans should arrive early for a special pregame ceremony honoring the Orange's senior class. Admission and parking are free.

The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra and on WJPZ 89.1FM in Syracuse. Live updates will also be available on Twitter (@CuseWLax).

THANK YOU SENIORS
Sunday's contest is the final regular-season home game for Syracuse's senior class. Erin Coleman, Mia DiBello, Riley Donahue, Ella Hogan, Alie Jimerson, Neena Merola, Zoe Recchion and Kelzi Van Atta will be honored in a pregame ceremony. The group has helped the Orange to a record of 58-29, an ACC Tournament championship and three appearances in the NCAA Tournament, including two trips to the national semifinals.

THE ORANGE IN CLOSE GAMES
Thursday's game at Boston College was the Orange's sixth this season decided by a goal. Syracuse is 2-4 in those contests. Three of those games have gone to overtime. Overall, the Orange are 8-8, 0-6 in the ACC.

GOLDSTOCK AMONG NATIONAL LEADERS
Sophomore Asa Goldstock has moved up to 13th in the nation in saves with 144. In addition, she ranks 34th in saves per game (9.0). Goldstock has reached double figures in saves eight times this season.

SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
Louisville enters Sunday's game on a six-game losing streak, which gives the Cardinals a 6-9 record, including a 0-6 mark in ACC play.

Caroline Blalock is Louisville's leader in points (53) and goals (41). She is also tied with Madison Hoover for the team lead in assists with 12. Lexie Ball has started all 15 games in goal for the Cardinals. She has a 13.60 goals-against average and a .399 save percentage.

THE SERIES
Syracuse and Louisville will meet for the ninth time. The Orange own a 7-1 advantage in the series. Last season, the Cardinals defeated Syracuse in Louisville, 9-8.

Syracuse travels to Durham, N.C. for next week's ACC Tournament. The action starts on Thursday, April 26 with the championship game set for Sunday, April 29.
