BLACKSBURG, Va. -- No. 14/17 Syracuse goes for its first ACC win of the season when it talks on No. 18/14 Virginia Tech on Saturday, April 6. The game has been moved to the Hokies' Indoor Facility and will now start at 3:30 p.m.

NO REST FOR THE ORANGE
For the third straight week Syracuse will have just one day off between games. The Orange defeated No. 9 Loyola in overtime on Thursday in Baltimore. The win improved Syracuse's record to 8-5. Syracuse enters Saturday's game with a 0-3 mark in conference play.

SCOUTING THE HOKIES
Virginia Tech has not played since last Saturday when it defeated Louisville, 15-14. The Hokies are now 10-4 overall and 3-1 in the ACC.

Paige Petty and Tristan McGinley lead Virginia Tech's offense. Both have scored 35 goals this season. In addition, Julia Bolte has dished out a team-high 13 assists. Meagh Graham has started all 14 games in goal for Virginia Tech. She has a 10.71 goals-against average and a .421 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY
Saturday's game marks the 10th all-time meeting between the two schools. The Orange have won all nine previous meetings. Last season, the squads met twice, the second coming at the ACC Tournament. Twelve different players scored for Syracuse as it posted a 20-13 victory.
