
Tooker Earns ACC Honors

After leading the No. 8 Orange to a first place finish at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown last Friday at Boston's Franklin Park, Syracuse cross country junior Aidan Tooker earned ACC Performer of the Week honors.
Tooker ran an 8K time of 24:02.5 in Boston, which was good to finish second place just behind Campbell's Amon Kemboi. Tooker propelled all five Syracuse runners into the top 13. The race was Tooker's first of the 2018 campaign.
The Saratoga Springs, N.Y. native won USTFCCCA All-Northeast region, All-ACC, and ACC All-Academic honors last season.
Next, Tooker and the Orange will race at the NCAA Pre-Nationals event in Madison, Wisconsin on Oct. 13.
