Syracuse women's soccer match against against No. 1 Virginia was canceled due to heavy rain, the game will not be made. Syracuse ends the year 3-11-2, 1-7-1 ACC.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's soccer team (3-11-2, 1-7-1 ACC) is set to finish the regular season with a home matchup against No. 1 Virginia (14-0-3, 6-0-3 ACC) on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. Syracuse will celebrate its five seniors in a pregame ceremony ahead of kickoff. The game will be shown live on ACC Network Extra.
SENIOR DAY
The Orange's senior ceremony will recognize the contributions of Sydney Brackett, Taylor Bennett, Georgia Allen, Victoria Hill, and two-sport athlete and 2018 AVCA Honorable Mention All-American Santita Ebangwese. As a group, these five have won 21 games and have made lasting impacts for the program both on and off the field through their heart, dedication, and passion for Syracuse.
LAST TIME OUT
Brackett recorded her second goal of the season and the tenth of her career Sunday afternoon in Syracuse's 4-1 loss to No. 9 Duke in Durham, N.C. Brackett's goal opened scoring in the 31st minute, but the Orange went on to give up one goal four minutes later and the final three in the second half.
ORANGE RANKINGS
SCOUTING THE CAVALIERS
The Cavaliers lead the ACC in goals (54) and assists (43), and are tied with North Carolina for the least amount of goals allowed in the ACC. Nationally, UVA ranks third, ninth, and third, respectively, in those same three categories.
Virginia enters Thursday riding a four-game winning streak, with two of those victories coming against ranked opponents in No. 5 Florida State and No. 12 Louisville. Virginia has shutout 12 of its opponents this season and have yet to lose a game or allow more than one goal.
Virginia is led by Diana Ordonez (13G, 3A) and Meghan McCool (13G, 2A). Primary goalkeeper for the Cavaliers has been Laurel Ivory (13-0-3) who has started 16 games and holds a 0.24 GAA and .846 save percentage. She's allowed just four goals on the year and has recorded three shutouts.
