GAINESVILLE, Fla. – No.4/4 Syracuse women's lacrosse team continues its three-game road trip when it takes on No. 16/rv Florida on Wednesday, March 13. Game time is set for 7 p.m. in Gainesville, Fla.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse is coming off a 12-11 overtime loss at No. 2/2 Maryland last Saturday. The Orange came back from a three-goal second-half deficit to force overtime, but the Terrapins scored the game winner in overtime for their 80th consecutive home victory.

Junior Emily Hawryschuk scored four goals to lead Syracuse. Senior Nicole Levy (2g, 2a) and freshman Meaghan Tyrrell (3g, 1) also had four points each.

Hawryschuk now leads the team in points (32) and goals (26), while Levy has dished out a team-best 13 assists.

SCOUTING THE GATORS
Florida defeated High Point, 16-15, last Saturday to even its record at 3-3. The win was the second straight for the Gators.

Lindsey Ronbeck leads the Florida offense with 30 points on 26 points and four goals. Shannon Kavanagh (17) and Grace Haus (11) also have reached double digits in goals. Haley Hicklen has played all but six-plus minutes in goal for the Gators. She has a 12.56 goals-against average and a .452 save percentage.

Amanda O'Leary is in her 10th season at the helm of the Florida program. She has guided the Gators to championship weekend and five NCAA Tournament quarterfinal appearances.

SERIES HISTORY
Syracuse and Florida will meet for the 11th time on Wednesday. The Orange lead the all-time series, 6-4, however, Florida has won three of the five games played in Gainesville. Last season, Nicole Levy scored four goals to lead Syracuse to a 17-15 victory.

UP NEXT
The Orange return to ACC play when they take on Louisville on Sunday, March 17 in the final game of their three-game road trip. The game will be televised on ACC Network Extra.
