Syracuse, N.Y. - Watch the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament Show tonight on ESPN. The 12th-ranked Syracuse University women's basketball team is expected to earn its seventh-consecutive at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and could be named a top-16 team, which would mean the road to the Final Four begins in the Carrier Dome for the Orange. The show begins at 7 p.m. on ESPN.Â
Syracuse finished the regular season 22-7 and enters the postseason with a 24-8 overall record after a run to the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament semifinals in Greensboro, N.C. last week. 'Cuse is led by junior point guard and Nancy Lieberman Award finalist Tiana Mangakahia, who leads the nation in assists (268) and has a team-best 16.7 points per game.Â
The Orange have hosted the NCAA Tournament first and second rounds just once in program history. In 2016, 'Cuse was a 4-seed and went on to reach the Final Four for the first time in school history where the Orange lost to UConn in the national title game.Â
