SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 4/4 Syracuse faces its sixth top 15 opponent on Sunday, March 24 when it hosts No. 12/8 Notre Dame. Due to the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament being held in the Carrier Dome, the game will be played at Christian Brothers Academy located at 6245 Randall Rd, Syracuse, NY 13214. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m. Admission and parking are free of charge.

Fans can watch the game on ACC Network and the Watch ESPN app. Live audio will also be available on WJPZ 89.1FM in the Syracuse area.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse improved its record to 9-2 overall with a 15-6 win against Harvard on Tuesday. Junior Emily Hawryschuk scored four goals against the Crimson to lead the Orange. Hawryschuk has scored four or more goals in nine games this season. Redshirt junior Morgan Alexander recorded her fourth hat trick of the season, while senior Nicole Levy tied her career high in assists with four.

The Orange remain at No. 4 in the IWLCA and Inside Lacrosse media polls. Syracuse is 3-2 when facing top 15 teams this season, with its only losses coming against No. 1 Boston College and No. 2 Maryland by a combined three goals. The Orange enter Sunday's game with a 2-1 mark in ACC play.

SCOUTING THE FIGHTING IRISH
Notre Dame remains  undefeated after beating Vanderbilt, 18-6, on Wednesday. The Fighting Irish is now 9-0 overall, 2-0 in ACC play, and are ranked No. 12 in the IWLCA poll and No. 8 in the Inside Lacrosse media rankings.

Notre Dame has three scorers with 25 goals or more. Leading the Irish is sophomore Maddie Howe with 28 goals and 11 assists. She is closely followed by senior Samantha Lynch (27 g, 5a) and sophomore Andie Aldave (25g, 12a). Junior Jessi Masinko leads the team in assists with 15 on the season. In goal for the Fighting Irish is senior Samantha Giacolone. Giacolone leads the ACC in goals-against average (5.67) and save percentage (.557).

Christine Halfpenny is in her eighth year at the helm of the Notre Dame program. She has led the Fighting Irish to six NCAA tournament appearances.

THE SERIES
Syracuse leads the all-time record against Notre Dame, 18-7. The last time these programs faced was last season in South Bend. Notre Dame defeated the Orange, 11-10 in overtime.
