SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 5/5 Syracuse women's lacrosse team plays its final game of the regular season on Tuesday, April 16 when it hosts Cornell. Opening draw in the Carrier Dome is set for 7 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Tuesday's game is the regular-season finale for the Orange. Syracuse will recognize its senior class of Morgan Alexander, Julie Cross, Nicole Levy, Cara Quimby, Alexa Radziewicz, Mary Rahal, Emily Resnick, Bri Stahrr and Natalie Wallon will be honored prior to taking on the Big Red.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse (13-3) had its seven-game winning streak snapped in an 11-5 setback at North Carolina on Saturday. The Orange finish the conference portion of their schedule with a 5-2 league record.

Junior Emily Hawryschuk scored three goals against the Tar Heels, increasing her season total to 54 and her career total to 140. She is now tied for ninth place on Syracuse's all-time goals scored list.

SCOUTING THE BIG RED
Cornell defeated Brown, 10-7, on Saturday to improve its record to 8-4. The Big Red are tied for first place in the Ivy League standings with a 4-1 conference mark.

Caroline Allen leads Cornell in every statistical category with 50 points on 33 goals and 17 assists. She has recorded multiple goals in 11 of 12 games this season. Katie McGahan has started 11 games in goal for Cornell. She has an 8.72 goals-against average and a .492 save percentage.

Jenny Graap is in her 22nd season at the helm of the Big Red program. She has guided Cornell to a record of 208-138, one Ivy League title and one trip to the Final Four.

SERIES HISTORY
Syracuse and Cornell will meet for the 23rd time when the teams take the field on Tuesday. The Orange lead the all-time series, 17-5, and have won all 10 contests played in the Carrier Dome.

UP NEXT
Syracuse will travel to Chestnut Hill, Mass., for next week's ACC Tournament. Action gets underway on Wednesday, April 24. The semifinals are slated for Friday, April 26 with the final on Sunday, April 28. The ACC Champion will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
