
'Cuse Men Ranked in USTFCCCA's First Poll

Women are receiving votes
With the fall championship season kicking off this week for the Syracuse cross country teams, the USTFCCCA released its first National Coaches' Poll for the 2020 season.
The 'Cuse men's rank 17th, third amongst conference foes that they'll have the opportunity to race against this weekend. Notre Dame leads the ACC at No. 6, followed by Virginia one spot ahead of the Orange at No. 16. NC State checks in at No. 22.
The women's team received votes in the poll, which would put them as one of the top-three ranked teams in the Northeast Region as a result. 'Cuse will head to the ACC Championships on Friday, set to face a host or ranked opponents. NC State leads the ACC on the women's side at No. 4 overall, followed by Notre Dame (No. 12), Florida State (No. 21), Georgia Tech (No. 25), and UNC (No. 27). Duke is also receiving votes behind the Orange.
The ACC Championships will conclude the Orange's fall slate on Friday.
