
#20 Orange to Face Regional Opponent Sunday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The No. 20Â Syracuse women's basketball team (3-0) will face a regional opponent in Binghamton (0-1) on Sunday, Dec. 13. Tip-off is scheduled of 2 p.m. on ACCNXÂ with Isis Young '19 and Cooper Boardman on the call. The game will bring Syracuse's total of nationally televised games to 17 this season, the most in program history.Â
Binghamton has just one game under its belt this season, a 69-55 loss to Fairleigh Dickinson, on Dec. 2 at home. In the season opener, Denai Bowman led Binghamton with 22 points shooting 11-for-17 from the field and Clare Traeger had a team-best 11 rebounds.The Bearcats were 22-9 last season before their season ended with a 57-42 loss to Stony Brook in the America East Tournament on March 8.Â
The Orange are 3-0 overall and have outscored opponents by an average of 24 points per game and is holding opposition to a 26.9 field goal percentage, the best among ACC teams through the first two weeks of the season.Â
Syracuse begins its Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) slate Thursday, Dec. 10 at Miami (3-0) before Sunday's home matinee. Thusday's game will tip-off is set for 8 p.m.Â
