
Orange Primed for Olympic Trials

Thirteen former Syracuse cross country standouts will race in the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials on Saturday.
Syracuse's 13 representatives are two more than the next-closest school (Princeton 11), and six more than the next closest ACC school (Notre Dame's seven). Only three schools, Syracuse, Princeton and Colorado (10) have double-digit qualifiers.
Jonathan Aziz, Colin Bennie, Patrick Geoghegan, Martin Hehir, Dan Lennon, Juris Silenieks and Joe Whelan will race in the men's race, which gets underway at 12:08 p.m. Bennie, Hehir, Lennon and Silenieks were all on the 2015 Orange roster that won the program's second NCAA title.
Margo Malone, Shannon Malone, Maegan Krifchin, Maura Linde, Stefanie Slekis and Christine Ramsey will run in the women's race, which begins at 12:20 p.m.
The event, which can be watched live on NBC at Noon, will take place in Atlanta. It can be streamed here: Watch
