LOUISVILLE, Ky. – No. 3/3 Syracuse returns to ACC play this weekend with a pair of games at No. 18/15 Louisville. The teams will square off on Friday, April 16 at 3 p.m. and Sunday, April 18 at noon.

Both games will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. Fans in the Syracuse area can also listen to all the action on WJPZ 89.1FM. Live updates will be available on Twitter (@CuseWLax).

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse posted its third straight win on Tuesday, defeating UAlbany, 16-6. The Orange (9-1, 5-1) shut out the Great Danes in the first half and led 12-0 at intermission. It was the first time Syracuse has held an opponent scoreless in a half since it accomplished the feat against Maryland on February 29, 2020.

Juniors Meaghan Tyrrell and Megan Carney and freshman Emma Ward led the Orange offense. Tyrrell tied her career high in goals (5) and points (7), while Carney added six points on five goals and an assist. Ward dished out a season-high six assists, which tie for fifth place on Syracuse's single-game record list.

SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
Louisville is coming off a 12-10 loss against Duke on April 8, which gave the Cardinals a record of 5-7, including a 1-6 mark in ACC play. The one conference win came at Virginia Tech on April 3.

Ally Hall leads the Louisville offense with 37 points on 30 goals and seven assists. Hall is one of three players with 20 or more goals this season. That group includes Caroline Blalock (22) and Hannah Morris (21). Blalock has dished out a team-best 10 assists.

THE SERIES
Syracuse and Louisville have met nine times with the Orange coming out victorious in eight of those contests. The teams last met in 2019 in Louisville. The 'Cuse scored the first three goals of the game and never looked back as it recorded a 14-7 victory.
