ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse (6-1) had its six-game winning streak to start the season snapped in a 17-6 loss at No. 1 North Carolina on Saturday. Junior Meaghan Tyrrell scored four goals to lead the Orange offense.

With her performance, Tyrrell took over as Syracuse's leader in points (37), goals (24) and assists (13) this season. She ranks 12th in the nation in points per game (5.29).

SCOUTING THE HOYAS
Georgetown is coming off a pair of losses at Denver on March 26 and 28. The Hoyas enter Tuesday's game with a 3-5 overall record.

Kylie Hazen leads Georgetown with 23 points (14g, 9a), while Michaela Bruno has a team-high 17 goals to go along with five assists. Emily Gaven has started all eight games in goal for the Hoyas. She has a 12.90 goals-against average and a .374 save percentage.

Ricky Fried is in his 17th season at the helm of the Georgetown program. He has guided the Hoyas to a 170-121 record.

THE SERIES
Tuesday's game will be the 24th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Georgetown. The Hoyas own a 14-9 advantage in the series. Georgetown won the first 10 contests played between the two teams. Since that time, the Orange have come out on top in nine of the last 13 meetings, including the last five.

The Hoyas visited Syracuse for the second round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament in the last meeting between the two schools. The Orange never trailed and posted a 14-8 victory.
