SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange take on Drexel on Thursday, August 26 at the SU Soccer Stadium. This match marks the beginning of the regular season for both teams and the first regular season meeting between the Orange and the Dragons. Ian McIntyre enters his 12th season as the head coach of the Orange.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse is coming off a productive preseason after matches against Siena, Rutgers, and Herkimer. Syracuse scored a total of 13 goals during its preseason competition.

SCOUTING THE DRAGONS

Drexel is coming off a 6-3-2 COVID altered season last year. During the Dragons' preseason they played Loyola, Lehigh and Navy in exhibition matches.
Senior Chris Donavan was selected as the CAA Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and the Dragons were selected to finish fourth overall in the CAA Preseason Poll.
Head Coach Michael Machiano enters his second season coaching the Dragons and second season overall as a head coach at the collegiate level.

UP NEXT
The Orange take the road for their first away match of the regular season on Sunday (Aug. 29) against Penn State at 7 p.m.
