Syracuse (4-1-1) and its four-game unbeaten streak challenges Connecticut (3-2) in a road match at Morrone Stadium on Sunday.

SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange played Cornell to a 0-0, overtime draw on Thursday night. Syracuse won its three contests prior to the match with the Big Red.

Connecticut lost to Brown on Thursday, 5-0. The Huskies won three of its first four contests, this fall.

THE SYRACUSE-CONNECTICUT SERIES
Connecticut has dominated the series that dates back to the 1997 campaign. The Huskies have an 18-2-2 advantage in the all-time pairings. Syracuse won the most recent match, a 2-1 decision in 2018.

POSTING ZEROS
The Syracuse defense has held the opposition scoreless in three straight contests and four of six games in 2021. Goalkeeper Lysianne Proulx has played every minute for the Orange this season. She owns eight career shutouts.

HUSKY HIGHLIGHTS
Sophomore Jada Konte, with two goals, and senior Duda Santin, who has a goal and an assist, are the top point-getters for Connecticut.

Events and special recognition of all female student-athletes who have donned the Block S to represent Syracuse University and the Athletics Department since 1971-72 will be held throughout the 2021-22 seasons.
