About the Meet:
The Orange return to action, kicking things off Saturday for the Harry Lang Invitational at Colgate. After a one-year hiatus, the Orange return to its typical season-opening meet.
History at the Harry Lang Invite
Syracuse has been competing in the Harry Lang Invite since 2006. In their last time at the meet in 2019, the Orange placed four of the top-five to win their season opener. Noah Beveridge, Stephen Schulz, Nathan Lawler, and Matthew Scrape secured the second through fifth spots
On the women's side, Freshman Justice Holden-Betts was the top finisher last time the Orange ran this course.
Last Time Out
Syracuse returns a large portion of its contributors from a year ago. The women's roster is headlined by Amanda Vestri, who was the ACC runner-up last year. It was the best finish by a Syracuse woman since Paige Stoner won the ACC title in 2017.
The Syracuse men qualified for the NCAA Championships for the 12th year in a row last season and return five of their top-six finishers from the national meet last season.
