How They Got Here:
Both the men's and women's squads automatically qualified for Saturday's meet by finishing in the top-two of the NCAA's Northeast Regional Championships last week. The men won the region once again, while the women took second.
Both teams enter the meet ranked nationally, headlined by the Orange men ranked No. 9 in the USTFCCCA National Poll.
NCAA Championship History:
This is the 14th straight year that the Orange men have qualified for the NCAA Championship. Last year the men finished 19th, their best finish since 2017. The Orange won their second national title in 2015 and Justyn Knight became the first individual national champion in 2017.
This the second consecutive year that the women's team is making an appearance at Nationals.
Orange Entries:
The 'Cuse women will lead off the meet with seven runners entered from the following list: Sage Brooks, Emma Eastman, Beatriz Fernandes, Ivy Gonzales, Justus Holden-Betts, Sophia Jacobs-Townsley, Olivia Joly, Eleanor Lawler, Shona McCulloch, Savannah Roark and Abigail Spiers. Of the 11 names entered, each team can race a maximum of seven competitors.
The men's seven-man roster will be pulled from: Noah Carey, Alex Comerford, Silas Derfel, Assaf Harari, Nathan Henderson, Nathan Lawler, Sam Lawler, Paul O'Donnell and Matthew Scrape.
