
XC Races in Pair of Weekend Meets

The Syracuse cross country teams will return after a week off and hit a pair of meets this weekend, first racing in the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown on Friday and then the Cowboy Jamboree at Oklahoma State on Saturday.
COWBOY JAMBOREE:
Start time:Â 8:45 a.m. (ET) - Saturday

PREVIEWING THE MEET
This will be one of the biggest regular season tests of the year for the Orange as both the men's and women's races feature loaded fields of ranked squads. The men's race will have 16 ranked teams, including eight of the top-10 teams in the nation running. The women's field features six of the top-10 teams as well.
ORANGE ENTRIES
Abigail Spiers, Emma Eastman, Ivy Gonzales, Savannah Roark, Beatriz Fernandes, Eleanor Lawler, Olivia Joly and Sophia Jacobs-Townsley are entered in the women's race.
The men will send Nathan Henderson, Paul O'Donnell, Noah Carey, Assaf Harari, Nathan Lawler, Sam Lawler, Ethan Wechsler and Matthew Scrape to the line.

Silas Derfel, Matthew Dragon, Dominic Hockenbury, Patrick Malone, Kamari Miller, Kevin Robertson and Karl Winter are set to compete for the men.
The women will race Emma Eastman, Justus Holden-Betts, Caroline Kirby, Shanley Koekemoer, Kensey May, Shona McCulloch, Emily Nugent, Olivia Shattuck, Bethany Steiner, Emily Toth-Ratazzi, Reilly Zink and Lucy Zombek.
RANKING THE ORANGE
The 'Cuse men are ranked No. 20 in this week's USTFCCCA Coaches Poll, while the women's squad is receiving votes and on the cusp of the poll.
The men were ranked No. 21 in the preseason and both squads have won every meet thus far this season.
LAST TIME OUT
'Cuse rolled at the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational, sweeping both the meets and the weekly ACC awards.Â
Nathan Henderson and Savannah Roark won the individual races and the subsequent ACC Performer of the Week Awards, while Beatriz Fernandes and Assaf Harari clamied ACC Rookie of the Week honors.
