The Syracuse women's basketball team is hosting The College of Saint Rose at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31 for Boo Bash, a spooky-themed exhibition game. Fans are encouraged to attend the preseason game in costume and stick around after the game game for some treats; the players will be handing out Halloween goody bags at Gates A, B and C after the conclusion of the game.Â
Tuesday's exhibition game kicks off the 2023-24 season, one filled with excitement for Syracuse women's basketball. Fifth year guard Dyaisha Fair returns to continue her dominance in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Fair is on the Nancy Lieberman Award Preseason Watch List and was named to the All-ACC Preseason Team last week. Alongside Fair are three other returning starters, Georgia Woolley, Kyra Wood and Alaina Rice who helped guide the Orange to the Sweet 16 of the Women's NIT last year.
Five newcomers will make their Orange debut on Tuesday night, including graduate transfers Izabel Varejão (Michigan) and Dominique Camp (Akron). Head Coach Felisha Legette-Jack added three freshman this season, Sophie Burrows, Alyssa Latham and Marilena Triantafylli to join the eight returners and two grad transfers.Â
Fans unable to attend can stream the exhibition game live on ACC Network Extra online or through the ESPN app.Â
Syracuse officially begins the 2023-24 season on Tuesday, Nov. 7 when the Orange host Lafayette at 7 p.m.Â
