Syracuse to Host Alabama for First Installment of ACC/SEC Challenge

Syracuse will host Alabama on Nov. 30 at the JMA Wireless Dome for the first ACC/SEC Women's Basketball Challenge, announced by the Atlantic Coast and Southeastern Conference league offices Wednesday morning.
The Orange and Crimson Tide will meet for the first time in program history at 7 p.m., on Thursday, November 30.
Syracuse is coming off a 20-13 season in which the Orange reached the Super Sixteen of the Women's NIT in head coach Felisha Legette-Jack's first season at the helm. The Orange return four starters from last season including honorable mention WBCA All-American Dyaisha Fair who earned All-ACC honors and was the team's leading scorer with 19.9 points per game in 33 starts.
Alabama was an NCAA Tournament team in 2023. The Crimson Tide reached the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years and lost to Baylor, 78-74, in the first round.
