Syracuse/Alabama to Air on ACC Network

Syracuse will host Alabama on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. for the first ever ACC/SEC Challenge. The game will be televised nationally on ACC Network, as announced by ESPN and the league offices on Monday afternoon.
The Nov. 30 matchup will be the first meeting in program history between the two teams. The Crimson Tide earned an NCAA Tournament bid for the second time in three years in 2023 while the Orange are coming off a WNIT Super 16 appearance in head coach Felisha Legette-Jack's first season.Â
Syracuse is coming off a 20-13 season in which Legette-Jack became the first head coach in program history to lead the team to the postseason in their first season at the helm. The Orange return four starters from last season's WNIT Super Sixteen squad, including All-ACC and WBCA All-America honorable mention guard Dyaisha Fair. Syracuse added five newcomers to the mix, including graduate transfers Dominique Camp (Akron) and Izabel Varejão (Michigan).
